Potential ideas...

My original potential idea (which needed a lot of work) was to do a video blog diary. It consisted of there being two characters maybe with different obsessive disorders such as ADHD, bipolar or a split personality, where they would be facing day to day issues and confiding in their video blog. One of the scenarios I thought could work was where one of the characters would be starting a new job and from their office they were keeping up to date with their blog. It would have to be scripted and be on location.
From this idea we had discussed we have come up with a possible pitching idea which could defiantly work. It would consist of the two same characters but they would be creating rival blogs where they would do anything to get as many views as they could and possible sabotage each others video entries.

If this idea was to go forward we were thinking of different ways in which we could show our skills through using the camera and final cut. One of the ideas was to use split screening as if the two bloggers were talking to each other from their own windows on opposite sides of the screen.

Something similar to this- split screen.

This is Sam Peppers interviews. This is where we got the idea of doing interviews, involving the public  or our two characters. As we have all agreed we want to do a comedy, we were thinking of creating something very similar and building it into ours.

From surfing youtube I came across this video spoof off Twilight. I found it funny as it was so ridiculous. Something similar to this could work but we would have to be careful with the scripting as it could fail miserably.

This is a short film clip we were shown in class called 'The Book Club' which is episodes streamed through Youtube. Although the video was 7 minutes long it kept everyone in class who watched it gripped especially me where I enjoyed it thoroughly and found it so entertaining. To create a short film like this would be a challenge because of the set and script, however i think if we were to create our own short film it could work.

I have always loved comedy sketch shows from a kid and I've always wanted to create one of my own with different characters. This is Fool Britannia shown on ITV on Saturday nights where Dom Jolly has created a number of different characters to fool the nation. This is another potential idea for our programme.
